Everything you need to know about the Company Training Committee (CTC) Grant, job redesign, and how we support your finance team transformation.

1. What is the CTC Grant?

The Company Training Committee (CTC) Grant is a government initiative co-funded by NTUC that helps SMEs redesign jobs, improve workflows, and train staff to take on higher-value roles.

2. Who is eligible for the CTC Grant?

Eligible companies should:

Be registered and operating in Singapore
Have at least 3 local employees
Be willing to implement job redesign or staff upskilling

3. How much funding can I get?

You can get up to 70% funding on qualifying costs, including consultancy, training, and even software (like Xero) if it supports job transformation.

4. What kind of projects are supported?

Projects must involve job redesign, training, and/or systems improvement that help staff take on higher-value responsibilities. Finance team upgrades qualify.

5. Can this cover software like Xero and Quickbooks?

Yes. If the software is part of the job redesign and productivity plan, platforms like Xero or Quickbooks (3-year subscription) can be bundled in.

6. Is there a minimum revenue requirement?

No strict minimum, but the business should be stable and operational with a genuine intent to train or redesign job roles.

7. Can CFOSG help with the paperwork?

11. What is considered job redesign?

Job redesign includes any changes that increase the value of a role — like training an admin to manage dashboards, handle reporting, or support cash flow strategy.

12. Can I start the project before the grant is approved?

No, you must wait for official approval and Letter of Offer (LOF) before beginning work.

13. Can startups apply?

CTC typically supports existing SMEs with an established workforce. Startups may not qualify unless they meet manpower and operational track record requirements.

14. Will you help us with claims and audit?
